Poor, poor, William. Just another statistic until HART stepped in to save him. The gorgeous senior boy was turned in to the PW shelter in terrible condition. He was dirty and smelled like urine. He also has terribly arthritic hips. When the vet shaved his back end yesterday to get rid some of the dense mats they found maggots as well. The “owners’ claimed they couldn’t keep him because they were moving. Shame on them. William still has plenty of life and love to give and HART is proud to have stepped in when no one else saw the wonderful [...]
“This jolly little group of kittens is ready for their forever home, just in time for the holidays! Rescued from a rural West Virginia kill shelter, these little babies were lovingly bottle fed by a very special person. They were a little camera shy at their first adoption event, but don’t let that fool you. They are extremely social and very, VERY playful.” For more information click here:http://www.hart90.org/PetDetail.aspx?id=7805
“Meet Beetelguese! She is a social girl who spends her days in our cat community room. She is playful, active and a bit independent. She’s also great with dogs. As with all of our animals, she is current on her vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. This star is shining bright at the AWLA. And if you say her name 3 times she might come home with you.” For more information go to http://www.alexandriaanimals.org

A beautiful German Shepherd girl. Ithena’s ears go straight up when she perks. She’s a very people-oriented sweetheart. Here’s a girl who was locked up through no fault of her own with a slim future ahead. Now the world is her oyster and you’ll be lucky to be a part of it. Ithena does not seem like she’s 4 years old, she’s very energetic and playful. Ithena loves other dogs and acts very playful with them. She has not had much training and needs to learn some manners, but her lovable nature and her brains will make that task nothing [...]
German Shepherd Dog / Mixed : : Female (spayed) : : Senior : : Large Good Dog Rescue: Misha came to Good Dog Rescue when her human Mom passed away suddenly. Misha has been seen by our vet and he says that she is a very young 10 year old – active and alert. Misha is great with other dogs and people of all ages (including kids). Her favorite activity is playing fetch, even indoors. She will play fetch for as long as you’ll throw the ball. But, she settles easily for quiet time. She likes to go for walks; although it takes her a bit of time to adjust [...]
