All new clients must schedule a registration
appointment prior to the start of the first service. This allows you
to meet a Becky’s Pet Care, Inc. (BPC) Pet Care Professional (PCP)
and communicate your pet’s needs directly to him or her. Your PCP
will note all care instructions for your pet. This information will
be stored in our database for future reference. Please remember to update
us if your pet care instructions change.
There is a one-time $20 registration
fee.
Keys
BPC recommends that client keys are
maintained in a lock box at the clients’ home. BPC can provide a lock
box for a $35 deposit or the client can purchase one of their own. Lock
boxes must be accessible by combination and can be kept outside the
clients home in the location of the clients choice (i.e. door handle,
porch railing, hose bib, etc.). The lock box will remain in full control
of the client.
If the client prefers to provide keys
directly to BPC, they are asked to have two sets of keys to
each lock available at the time of registration. Your PCP will double-check
to see that the keys you have given us work in the appropriate locks.
The PCP is responsible for one set and the other set is secured at our
local office in case of an emergency. For your convenience, BPC
offers a KeyOnFile program. This program allows your keys to
be retained by BPC in the event that future pet care or emergency care
is needed. At your request, your keys will be returned to you via certified
mail when service is completed. A Key Pick-up will be required before
any future service can be performed. There is a $20 fee for this service.
Reservations
The main office must be notified of all new service requests, changes to existing services, or cancellations.
If you do not make your request with the main office, BPC cannot be
held responsible for any errors in scheduling. You can make your request
online (www.beckyspetcare.com), via email (service@beckyspetcare.com), telephone (703-822-0933) or toll free (877-DoggyWalk
or 877-KittySit). If you leave a message or send an email, please do
not assume that we have received your message until we confirm it. All
messages will be confirmed within 24 hours. Please DO NOT leave
town without a confirmation.
We require a minimum of two (2) business
days notice for all pet sitting reservations. If you make your pet sitting
reservation with less than two (2) business days notice, we may not
be able to accept your reservation. If we are able to accept your reservation,
a $25 late reservation fee will be required.
Our Standard Walk is a 30-minute visit
with your dog that includes a walk and/or playtime as requested, TLC,
fresh water, and a treat or two (if approved as part of your dog’s
diet). These walks are done Monday – Friday between 10 AM – 4 PM.
This service is perfect for active adult
dogs, energetic puppies, or older dogs that need a little extra attention
during the day.

your dog will receive lots of love and affection from our caring staff.

Monthly Service - Express Doggy Walk
Our Express Doggy Walk is a 15-minute
visit with your dog that includes a potty break, TLC, fresh water, and
a treat or two (if approved as part of your dog’s diet). These walks
are done Monday – Friday between 10 AM – 4 PM.
This service is perfect for less-active
adult dogs, potty breaks for puppies, or older dogs that need more frequent
breaks than they used to.

your dog will receive lots of love and affection from our caring staff.

Frequent Walker Program
If your dog needs regular walks, but
your schedule requires more flexibility than our Monthly Service Plans,
our Frequent Walker Program may be the perfect solution.
With this plan, you purchase dog walks
in packages of either 10 or 20 visits, to be used according to your
needs during our regular doggy walking times (Monday - Friday, 10 AM
- 4 PM). Frequent Walker Doggy Walks may not be used on company holidays.
The Doggy Walks in this plan include
all the features of our Standard Doggy Walk, without the need for a
fixed schedule. Requests for walks with less than 2 business days notice
are subject to schedule availability. All walks must be used within
2 months of purchase.

Occasional Walks

or pleasure, our vacation care will assure you that your pets are safe
and comfortable at home, maintaining their normal routine while you
are away.
Our pet sitters offer up to 3 visits
per day for your pets. All visits include 30 minutes of time dedicated
to your pets’ needs, such as doggy walking, feeding, fresh water,
litter box cleaning, playtime, medication as necessary, and lots of
TLC. We are also happy to bring in your mail and newspapers, turn lights
on and off, and open/close your drapes.

a pet care professional – all in a 15-minute visit.

While we most commonly care for dogs
and cats, the professional staff at Becky’s Pet Care is skilled in
the care of many other types of pets as well. With specific instructions
from you, we will happily provide care for your birds, fish, rabbits,
guinea pigs, iguanas, or other small animal. We also have experience
caring for coy ponds, hermit crabs, and hedgehogs.

Small Animal
Express
If your pets do not require a 30-minute
visit, our Small Animal Express visit may be the perfect solution. Our
pet sitters can provide up to 2 Small Animal Express visits per day
for your pets.
You and your pet will receive all the
benefits of in-home care and the dedicated service of a pet care professional
– all in a 15-minute visit. We tailor our services to your requests
and your pets’ needs. Whatever the daily routine, we promise that
your pets will receive top quality service from our caring staff.
Becky’s Pet Care, Inc. provides pet
care services 365 days per year, including all holidays. We are happy
to provide visits whenever you need them. As a company, we recognize
the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence
Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. We do not schedule
regular doggy walks on these days but we can provide service with adequate
notice.
Rates for holiday visits are the normal
visit charge plus a surcharge of $10 per visit for any visit performed
on the actual holiday. We require a 50% non-refundable deposit
2 weeks prior to the onset of any service that includes the holiday,
the week preceding the holiday, or the week following the holiday.
As we book early during holiday periods,
please request your holiday visits with as much advance notice as possible.
We require a minimum of two (2) week notice for all pet sitting reservations
that occur during company holiday periods. If you make your pet sitting
reservation with less than two (2) weeks notice, we may not be able
to accept your reservation. If we are able to accept your reservation,
a $50 late reservation fee will be required.
Special Needs/Special Services
Becky's Pet Care, Inc. will provide
the best care possible for your pets while you are not at home. In the
event of any unusual circumstances, we will use our best judgment on
how to handle a situation. The client understands that Becky's Pet Care,
Inc. is acting in the clients’ best interest to the best of their
ability. The client will be responsible for payment of any such fees
associated with unforeseeable circumstances.
Medication
Your PCP will administer medication
to your pet according to your instructions. Fees for administration
of medication are as follows:
Topical medication: No Charge
Oral medication in food: No Charge
Oral mediation without food: $3 per
administration (Note: if your pet easily takes the meds, this fee may
be waived.)
Injections: $3 per injection
Sub Q Fluids: $10 per administration
Shopping for Your Pet
If any food or supplies are needed when
caring for your pet, Becky’s Pet Care, Inc. will invoice you for the
cost of supplies, as well as an additional shopping fee of $25.00.
Emergency Vet Care
For emergency vet care, we will charge
an emergency care fee of $50.00, plus an hourly charge for the PCP’s
time spent at the vet’s office or clinic, plus the cost of the vet
care, if we must pay for vet care. We will attempt to have the vet or
animal hospital bill you directly.
Locksmith
If you have contacted Becky’s Pet
Care, Inc. for service, and your PCP cannot access your house to care
for your pet, we will call a locksmith to gain entry. We will charge
a locksmith fee of $125.00. To avoid this fee, please make sure that
your doors and locks are functioning properly, that we have the correct,
working keys, and that we have been provided with an emergency set of
working keys. This set can be left in the lock box or left on file in
our office.
